Portfolio Trusts

Trusts are widely considered to offer numerous advantages, but are regarded as expensive if they hold uncomplicated assets, such as a unit trust investment or an insurance policy. To overcome this, Geneva Trust provides a short-form trust, generally referred to as a Portfolio Trust. A Portfolio Trust is a limited-purpose Trust that is restricted by the nature of the assets it can own.

Accounting

Geneva Trust offers a range of accounting services to its clients. These include the maintenance of the entity’s accounting records in accordance with statutory legislation and directives, and the preparation and filing of reports, if required in writing by the client.

It is often necessary or desirable to have access to financial statements. For example, beneficiaries have a right to know the financial status of a trust fund and details of the annual performance for the purpose of fiscal returns to be lodged in other jurisdictions.
